What is Lalithya?
Lalithya is a curated collection of exquisite, hand-crafted sarees, specializing in traditional Indian craftsmanship such as block printing, kantha stitching, and hand painting. We celebrate the rich heritage of Indian textiles while offering modern designs suited for today’s fashion-forward customers.
Are your products made from sustainable materials?
Yes, our products are made from natural fibers such as cotton, linen and silk which are
biodegradable. In addition, our products are made by skilled craftsmen thereby endorsing fair labor practices and preserving traditional art form on the fabric.
Is customization available?
Currently no, but we are looking into this aspect.
Is internationally shipping available?
Yes, we do ship internationally. Courier charges are calculated at the time of checkout based on your delivery destination. Any additional custom charges to be borne by the customer.
Can I cancel my order once placed ?
The order can be cancelled only if the product is not shipped from our warehouse.
My saree looks slightly different from the picture and the prints or stitches are not uniform
Handmade sarees are made in small batches, so you can expect slight shade variations
with each batch. Also, the resolution of your device might also be a factor for this. Imperfections like alignment in prints and stitches are quite natural for handmade saree.
What are the wash and care instructions for the handmade sarees?
Always use gentle or mild detergents for washing. Color bleeds are normal for natural
dyed products. Wash them separately and soak them in salt water before washing. For hand painted sarees, only dry wash is advised.
What are your shipping charges?
We offer free shipping all over India.
Do you accept returns. If yes, how is the payment refunded?
Returns are accepted only for damaged or wrong products delivered. Drop us an email
at connect@lalithya.com within 3 days of receiving the package along with the pictures of the damage or defect, to enable us to arrange for a reverse pick-up. Refund will be initiated to your original payment method, once we receive the product at our warehouse and complete the quality check.

Currently, we are an online store, allowing customers from all over the world to explore and purchase our sarees from the comfort of their homes.

How can I place an order?
To place an order, simply browse our collection, select your desired product, add it to your cart, and follow the checkout process. You will receive an order confirmation via email once the purchase is complete.

What is your shipping policy?
We offer both domestic and international shipping. Delivery times vary based on location. You can find detailed information about shipping costs and delivery estimates during checkout.
How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
Domestic orders typically take 5-7 business days to be delivered. International orders may take 10-15 business days depending on the destination. Delays may occur during peak periods.
Do you offer returns or exchanges?
We accept returns and exchanges only with Defective & wrong product delivery:
1. Notification: Please inform us of your intent to return or exchange within 3 days of delivery via email or phone.
2. Defective or Wrong Product: If the product you received is defective or incorrect, notify us within 3 days. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund after verifying the issue.
3. Shipping: Ensure that the product is shipped back within 7 days of delivery.
4. Condition: The product must be unused and in its original condition, with all tags and packaging intact (this excludes defective or wrong items).
5. Final Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process the return, exchange, or refund accordingly.
Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email, which you can use to track the status of your delivery.
Do you offer customization?
Currently, we do not offer customization services. However, our unique designs and craftsmanship ensure that each saree is one of a kind.
What should I do if I receive a damaged product?

Do you provide gift wrapping?
Yes, we offer gift wrapping options. You can select this option at checkout and include a personalized message if you'd like.
How do I care for my saree?
Each product has specific care instructions. Generally, we recommend dry cleaning for sarees with intricate handwork, such as kantha stitching and hand painting, to preserve their quality.
